What visitors remember.
01 — Is Taigh Mel a separate property?
Yes. Taigh Mel adjoins Melany’s home but is entirely self-contained, with its own entrance, private garden and parking. Melany is nearby if you need anything, while the accommodation itself is yours to enjoy privately.
02 — How many people can stay?
Taigh Mel sleeps up to four guests, with one spacious double bedroom and a double sofa bed in the sitting room.
03 — Is the sofa bed automatically prepared?
For three or four guests, the sofa bed is prepared automatically. For a two-person booking, the double bedroom is prepared as standard; if you would like both beds made up, you can add the separate-bed option when booking for £15 per stay.
04 — Are dogs welcome?
Yes. Up to two dogs are welcome for £20 per stay. The garden is enclosed, and there are coastal walks nearby. Dogs must not be left unattended in the property or allowed on the beds or other soft furnishings.
06 — Is parking available?
Yes. There is level parking directly in front of the property.
07 — What time are check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 3.00 pm and check-out is by 10.00 am. Direct bookings require at least one day’s notice, so same-day bookings are not available.
08 — How does payment and cancellation work?
20% is paid when you book and the remaining 80% is due 30 days before arrival. If you book within 30 days of arrival, the full amount is payable when booking. Cancellations made more than 30 days before check-in receive a full refund; more than 14 days before check-in (but less than 30 days before check-in) receive a 50% refund; within 14 days the booking is non-refundable.
